Am I the only person who notices that the Obama campaign has been spending money and time for months, laying the foundation for associating Mitt Romney in low-information, undecided voters' minds with the agent of Gotham's reckoning and all around destructive force, Bane?
Sure, "Bain" and "Bane" are spelled differently but remember (a) Teem Mitt has already laid a foundashun for spelling gaphs and, more importantly, (b) low information, undecided voters are pretty much, by definition, sort of stupid.
It's time the Romney campaign take these attacks seriously and attempt to "reframe" the discussion. After all, the stage is set to get voters to associate Mitt not to some charismatic, class-warfare inciting enigmatic stranger, but to the fabulously wealthy, reasonably boring, and impeccably tailored Bruce Wayne (Getting them to think "Batman" initially may be a stretch but per the Mrs. Romney, there's no telling what might happen when we unzip Mitt...Secondary benefit, we're already prepared for our Sidekick Branding. Mittman "and Ryan" or Mittman "and Rubio-n" just roll off the tongue.
